CARE INSTRUCTIONS TO KEEP YOUR HAPPIES SMILING

Proper care ensures your sunglasses stay in mint condition and look their best, which means you’ll look your best you devil you. Follow these simple steps to keep those tigers purring.

1. Cleaning Your Happies

Step 1: Rinse your sunglasses under lukewarm water to remove dust and debris. Avoid hot water, as it can damage lens coatings.

Step 2: Apply a small drop of mild dish soap to your fingertips or a microfibre cleaning cloth.

Step 3: Gently rub both sides of the lenses and the frame. Avoid using harsh chemicals, ammonia, or vinegar.

Step 4: Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.

Step 5: Dry with a clean, lint-free microfibre cloth. Avoid using paper towels or clothing, as they can scratch the lenses.

2. Storing Your Happies

  • Always store your sunglasses in a protective case when not in use. This prevents scratches, bending, or accidental damage.
  • Place your sunglasses face-up in the case to avoid scratching the lenses.
  • Avoid leaving your sunglasses in extreme temperatures (e.g., a hot car or freezing conditions), as this can warp the frame or damage the lenses.

3. Handling Your Happies

  • Always use both hands to put on or remove your sunglasses to prevent misaligning the frame.
  • Avoid placing your sunglasses on your head (on top of your hair), as this can stretch the frame over time.
  • Never place your sunglasses lens-down on surfaces to prevent scratches.

4. Protecting Your Happies

  • Keep your sunglasses away from harsh chemicals, such as hairspray, perfume, or sunscreen, which can damage lenses and frames.
  • Avoid using your sunglasses as a headband, as this can loosen the hinges and distort the frame shape.
  • Regularly check the screws on the hinges and tighten them if necessary to maintain a secure fit.

5. Additional Tips

For Polarized Lenses: Avoid using abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the polarization filter.

For Anti-Reflective Coatings: Clean gently to preserve the coating’s effectiveness.

For Metal Frames: Dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent water spots or corrosion.
